AWT's Women's Technology Leadership Forum Presents:

Cloud Computing – What Can Cloud Do For You?

Please join AWT Wednesday, November 11th for an interactive panel discussion and hear highly experienced technology executives share their insight on the benefits and risks of using cloud computing in the workplace.

Despite huge advances in computing power, the world's IT infrastructure is overwhelmed by increasingly complex and huge amounts of data. So, along came “cloud computing” where processing, storage, networking and applications are accessed as services over networks, public and private. It allows us to manage this huge volume of data being generated by nearly a trillion devices, objects, processes and people.

MODERATOR:

Tim Caulfield
Founder and Partner, Capto Consulting, Inc.

PANEL EXECUTIVES:

Bruce Maches
Consultant and contributor to Cloud Magazine

Josh Crowe
Vice President of Managed Hosting & Cloud Computing, Savvis Communications

Paul Laskin
Co-founder and CIO, Cirrhus9
Board of Director, Technology Advisory Board and
Founding Committee Member of LSIT Global Institute

Joe Luna
Managing Partner, Logic Security, Inc.
Advisory Board, Western Regional Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition
Advisory Board, Regional Information Systems Security Center

Sylvia Garcia
Director IT, Santarus, Inc.

This topic and speaker panel will provide relevant insight to IT professionals at all levels, such as developers, project managers, analysts and directors. Also, professionals who support IT organizations from staffing and recruiting, to product vendors should find significant value. This will also be a great opportunity for college students preparing to graduate, and high school students considering a technology career.
